CONGRATULATIONS.It was a grand successful FESS BASICS Work Shop at NANDYAL conducted by Dr.C.Madhusudhana Rao in his Nursing Home in association with AOI AP STATE BRANCH.About 110 Delegates attended the work shop.The Faculty were Dr.PSN Murthy,Dr.SKE AppaRao,Dr.N.Venkatram Reddy,Dr.C.Madhusudhana Rao & Dr.S.Prabhaker ,all from AOI AP State Branch. 2. Hands on Temporal Bone Dissection & Live Surgery Work Shop on 3rd & 4th March 2012 by Dr.B.Jayaprakash Reddy. 3. Hands on FESS & Live FESS Work Shop on 17th & 18th March 2012 at Kakinada by Dr.G.S.N.Murthy. 4. National Work Shop on RADIO FREQUENCY on 11-3-2012 ,Sunday at YASHODA Hospital,Secunderabad,Organised by Dr.D.S.Deenadayal,in association with AOI AP State Branch. 5. FESS & MICRO EAR SURGERY Work Shop on 17th & 18th March 2012,at Rangaraya Medical College,Kakinada, organised by Dr.G.S.N.Murthy in asoociation with AOI AP State Branch. 6. Dr.S.Muneeruddin Ahmad,Prof.& HOD ENT,Kurnool Medical College,Kurnool & Dr.C.Madhu Sudhan Rao,Senior ENT Specialist,Nandyal,Kurnool District are jointly awarded the BEST DOCTOR AWARD by the District Collector,Kurnool on 26th Jan.2012.We are proud of Dr.S.Muneeruddin Ahmad,Editor,E-JOURNAL,AOI AP STATE BRANCH and Dr.C.Madhu Sudhan Rao,MEMBER SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE,AOI AP STATE BRANCH for their Achievement. 7. The AOI AP State Branch in association with ENT Head & Neck Surgery Dept.of KMC/MGM Hospital,Warangal conducted the ENT PG CME-2012, in NRI ALUMNI CETRE,KMC,Warangal on 28th & 29th Jan.2012.About 50 PGs from different Medical Colleges,both Govt. & Private attended.About 25 Faculty Members both Govt. & Private attended on their OWN EXPENSES and delivered their Talks,shown Videos,moderated Panel Discussion,conducted Quiz for PGs & participated as External Examiners for the Case Presentation & Discussion Session for PGs.Dr.Deendayal contributed two PRIZES( total four ) for the winners of PANEL on ADENOTONSILLITIS & QUIZ ( two PGs in each). 8. The AOI AP State Branch in Association with Govt. ENT Hospital, koti, Hyd., is conducting Free ENT, Head & Neck Cancer Screening & Awareness Programme on WORLD CANCER DAY 4th February 2012 from 11.00am to 2.00pm in the Hospital.     8th AOI Southzone Conference and 31st AP State Annual Conference AOI AP CON-2011 Nellore, Scientific programme Nellore General Body Meeting Agenda E-Journal December 2011 PG UPDATE letter for website ENT PG UPDATE-2012 Registor-Form ENT_UPDATE_2011Programme AOI APCON Narayana, Nellore International Pediatric Otolaryngology conference Membership Form Workshop Guidelines Family Benefit Scheme FBS Application           Association of Otolaryngologists of India , AP State Branch was started in early eighties with an inaugural conference at Vijayawada.  Since then the Association grew by leaps and bounds and at present it is a vibrant and active branch with a number of academic activities to its credit. Annual Conference is usually held in the month of September every year in different parts of the state. The present membership is about 600. A number of teaching and practicing Otolaryngologists are the active members of the Association. Headed by eminent Otolaryngologists of repute,the Assocaition takes part in academic and social activities. The Association can boast of senior Otolaryngologists like Dr.Pinnamaneni Narasimha Rao, Dr.S.N.Jain and Dr.T.V.Krishna Rao who were elected as the national Presidents of AOI. Dr.Lakshmipati,Dr.ABN Rao,Dr.Samba Murthy,Dr.Ramanjaneyulu,Dr.Satya- SatyaMurthy,Dr.Babji,Dr.VenugopalaRao,Dr.Hampaiah,Dr.APAP Reddy,Dr.Sekharan are some of the eminent Otolaryngologists who paved the way. Every year AOI AP Branch conducts one annual Conference and 3 to 4 Live Surgical Workshops in different  parts of the state with national and local faculty. This year the responsibility of hosting 4th Southzone Conference of AOI has fallen on the shoulders of AOI AP Branch and rightly it has chosen Hyderabad as the host city to conduct 4th Southzone Conference and 27th Annual Conference of AOI AP Branch with Dr.Ranganatha Reddy as the Organizing Chairman and Dr.Ramakrishnaiah as the Organizing Secretary.
